Become a Club Coach

What would your life be like if...
   $    As a child, you were taught to begin saving to create wealth?
   $    As a teen, you knew how to manage your money powerfully?
   $    There was an end to the cycle of crippling debt?                    

Wouldn't you love to give that gift to children so they can grow up to be financially independent?

“Grow Your Money” afterschool programs provide kids the basic understanding of money and how it works. The clubs explore the concept of money with “kid-friendly” games and activities, introducing members to the ways we can use money.  Without this foundation, nothing else about money will ever make sense.

Adults that choose to coach come from many walks of life, but have several desires in common:   
    To connect with kids and make a difference in their lives.
          To gain better understanding of financial concepts.
          To give back and share with the community.

Clubs are hosted in schools throughout the Austin area and are lead by adult “Coaches”.  As a Club Coach, you will receive 6 hours of training in this innovative financial literacy education, as well as professional support in running a club.  Coaches receive a stipend of $30 per week for each club they conduct. 

As a “Grow Your Money” Club Coach, Club Coach, you will:

      Meet with a Club once a week for 12 weeks for one hour.
Lead Club Members in an exploration into how money works.                            
Support the Members in creating a small business project.                              
Receive close support from The Money Academy  trained educator.              
Be eligible to lead Entrepreneur Camps during the summer.

Club Coaches bring kids into hands-on contact with  real-world money skills, and change their relationship with money, forever!
